Celebrating the 110th anniversary of Old Trafford, LEGO are set to release a 3,898-piece set model of the stadium in early February, allowing Manchester United fans to build their own Theatre of Dreams, complete with intricate details including the players’ tunnel and the statue of the United Trinity.
Everyone knows that one of the main reasons to have kids is so that you get to play with LEGO again, but the LEGO Old Trafford set falls under the ‘Creator Expert’ category, meaning it is intended for adults. The set is a 1:600 replica model of Old Trafford and it measures 6.5” (18.5cm) high, 18” (47cm) long and 15” (39cm) wide. The perfect size to feature authentic details including the players’ tunnel and a statue of Sir Alex Ferguson.
Designed for fans aged 16 and up, the set will set you back a cool £249.99, and it includes building instructions with information on the stadium and its history as well as the designers that have brought the set to life.
Sean Jefferson, Manchester United’s director of partnerships, said: “Our Old Trafford stadium is as iconic as Manchester United itself and we are proud to be able to bring it to life in Lego form.
"I think everyone has played with Lego bricks at some point in their life, however it’s still amazing to see the level of detail the Lego designers have managed to recreate in this piece. We are sure it will be hugely popular amongst Manchester United and Lego fans alike.”

The LEGO Old Trafford set will be available at lego.com from 1 February, in time for the stadium's 110th anniversary on 19 February.
