EA Sports Offer First Look At FIFA 21

EA Sports have unveiled a first look at FIFA 21, with the developer promising that the next-generation version of the game will feature new technology to make it the most authentic feeling yet.

FIFA 21 will release for existing consoles on 9 October and then on the new Xbox Series X and Playstation 5 when they are released later in the year. But EA says the newer consoles will take advantage of more advanced technology to offer the most realistic experience to date. That will be seen in terms of gameplay, more life-like player movements, rich weather detail and the most authentic character behaviours ever seen in sports video games.

The next-generation editions will also feature significantly reduced loading times, with the PS5 version taking advantage of haptic feedback on the console's DualSense controller. New rendering will help to increase the overall realism of the game, with the next-gen technology creating deeper definition in player physiques, while dynamic lighting is set to accentuate details such as faces, hair, kits, and uniforms to take athletes to a whole new level of realism.

Rumours of a COVID-19 mode featuring empty stadiums have yet to be confirmed…
