A selection of the most exciting young football talents have been honoured with murals across the country to mark the launch of FIFA 21 on PlayStation 5, courtesy of EA SPORTS. The murals, located in London, Liverpool and Manchester, depict five players that represent the future of football; Trent Alexander-Arnold, Phil Foden, Georgia Stanway, Steven Bergwijn and Mason Mount.

Continuing the hype around the release of FIFA 21 and the Playstation 5, EA Sports has unveiled a series of murals across the country to celebrate the most exciting football talent. The murals depict five FIFA 21 ambassadors that represent the future of football; Trent Alexander-Arnold, Phil Foden, Georgia Stanway, Steven Bergwijn and Mason Mount. They will be in place from Friday, 20 November, with the next generation version of EA SPORTS FIFA 21 available worldwide on PS5, on 4 December.

The murals were designed by Graphic Designer and Illustrator Scott McRoy and installed by Mural Republic and out-of-home agency Kinetic.

Speaking of the designs, McRoy said: “The purpose of a mural is to stop people in their tracks and make them take notice. With each of the designs, I tried to bring plenty of colour and a sense of movement to make them stand out. There’s a huge amount of excitement around the next generation, which I tried to replicate in this design – hopefully people stop and stare!”.

On seeing his mural, Manchester City’s Phil Foden said: "At this stage in my career I’m honoured to be recognised by EA SPORTS. As a local lad, having a mural at the heart of Manchester is incredible. I just want to keep improving and get my FIFA rating into the 80’s!”

Tottenham Hotspur forward and Dutch international Steven Bergwijn said: “It’s an honour to be one of the FIFA Next ambassadors and having this mural installed is pretty surreal! I love seeing my own celebration up there. It’s something I came up with when playing FIFA with my friends so actually being able to recreate it in FIFA 21 is cool. Hopefully it’ll help inspire the generations to come to keep striving for their goals.

Chelsea midfielder and England international Mason Mount said: “As a lifelong Chelsea fan, having a mural installed just around the corner from Stamford Bridge, celebrating the next generation of emerging talent is amazing. I’m pleased with how my career has progressed to date, but the hard work never stops - this is just the start.

Liverpool right back and England international Trent Alexander-Arnold said: “Growing up in Liverpool I’ve been to Ropewalks countless times so it’s amazing to now see this mural of me there. I’ve really missed playing in front of the fans so I’m excited to recreate that Anfield atmosphere on the next-gen version of FIFA 21.

Manchester City and England forward Georgia Stanway said: “It’s so cool to see a mural of myself in Manchester’s Northern Quarter and to be honest, pretty surreal."

On December 4th, the next generation versions of EA SPORTS FIFA 21 will be available worldwide on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
