Mbappe Announced As New Dior Ambassador

He’s already a world beater, but now Kylian Mbappé has been announced as global ambassador for the house of Dior, its Sauvage perfume and its men’s fashion collections designed by Artistic Director Kim Jones.

Kylian Mbappé has the world at his feet. Already a World Cup winner, the Frenchman has literally only just turned 23, and just prior to his birthday today, he has been announced as the latest global ambassador for Dior, joining a celebrated list which includes the likes of Hollywood A-listers Johnny Depp and Robert Pattinson. Not bad company to be keeping.

The pairing follows Dior kicking off a two-season collaboration with Mbappé’s club, Paris Saint-Germain club, which sees mens creative director Kim Jones design the team’s official wardrobe.

Mbappé clearly has numerous links with Dior, with a close relationship with the brand's artistic director, Kim Jones being evidenced by a belated birthday gift back in 2020: the highly-coveted and sold-out Air Jordan I High OG Dior.

Sharing the news of his new status with Dior on his Instagram, Mbappé said: “I am delighted to announce that I am now officially part of Maison Dior. Can’t wait to share our collaborations in men’s fashion and Sauvage fragrance.

A Dior statement read: “The house of Dior is particularly happy to welcome Kylian Mbappé, with whom it shares the same values of exacting standards and generosity.
