On Monday, Chelsea Football Club will be 120 years old, and to mark this milestone in their history, a range of activities are to take place across the coming months to reflect on the incredible history of the Blues, including a free 120th anniversary exhibition, This Game is What We Make It, hosted at the London Saatchi Gallery.
Chelsea FC hits a major milestone as the club turns 120 years old on Monday, 10 March 2025, and the celebrations are set to be as iconic as the Blues’ legacy. From its founding at the Rising Sun pub to its global dominance, Chelsea has constantly evolved, setting new standards on and off the pitch. Marking the moment in a way only Chelsea can, the club takes over the Saatchi Gallery from 22–24 March with ‘This Game is What We Make It,’ a free exhibition blending football, culture, and creativity. From rare shirts to underground music influences, the event showcases the threads that weave Chelsea into the fabric of London.

Preceding that, the anniversary kicks off in style on Sunday, 9 March, as Chelsea hosts Leicester City at the Bridge, with club legends making a return. The celebrations continue on 3 April for the London derby against Spurs, featuring electric stadium displays.
Special anniversary merch, exclusive stadium tours, and season-long content celebrating Chelsea’s rich history all lead up to the End of Season Player of the Year event on 4 May. All in all, it's set to be more than an anniversary—it’s a celebration of Chelsea’s past, present, and future, bringing the entire Blues family together.
Head to the iconic London Saatchi Gallery from Saturday 22 – Monday 24 March to catch the free 120th anniversary exhibition, This Game is What We Make It.
