Football Shirt News - Bayer 04 Leverkusen adidas Away 09/10 - 09/07/09
Bayer Leverkusen have unveiled their new adidas 09/10 away shirt, with goalkeeper RenÉ Adler and midfielder Tranquillo Barnetta on hand to launch the kit in Leverkusen-Wiesdorf.
The basic colour of the new adidas Bayer Leverkusen away strip is white with a yellow trim, and the sponsor s lettering 'TelDaFax Energy' is in a bright red.
A number of suggested designs were put forward by adidas to sporting director Rudi VÖller. The previous away kit was my favourite kit and was very popular. But I really like the new one because it is attractive, relaxed and bright. The yellow trim is a new departure, said Bayer 04 managing director Wolfgang HolzhÄuser.
The colours were also well-received by midfielder Tranquillo Barnetta, shown here on the right holding the new Bayer Leverkusen away shirt 09/10: It s really great. White looks really good and it felt good when I wore it.
