Football Shirt News - Ivory Coast Puma Home & Away Africa Cup of Nations

These are the Ivory Coast football shirts the likes of Didier Drogba, Yaya Toure, Kolo Toure and Emmanuel Eboue will be wearing for the 2010 African Cup of Nations.

Puma's African Cup of Nations football shirts are a unique collection as they all follow the same minimalist and purposeful design, but with the teams colours and an individual print application to represent the specific nation.

Ivory Coast have to be one of the favourites for the tournament so it's likely we'll be seeing a lot of The Elephants, especially as the home shirt features an elephant on the shoulder area. The Puma home shirt is flame orange with green trim, whilst the away football shirt has a distinctive pattern displaying the colours of the national flag.

The shoulder area of the every Puma African Cup of Nations football shirt is made from a breathable mesh, combined with the African cut on the back of the shirt. The back is inspired by "Kinte" cloth, a type of silk fabric made of interwoven cloth strips which is native to Africa, and will help the players remain cool and manage moisture in the hot conditions.
