Japan Away Shirt - 2010 World Cup

Japan have released their new adidas away jersey for the 2010 World Cup, which the players debuted this week against Hong Kong in the four-team East Asian football championship.

The Samurai Blue, as they are nicknamed because of their blue home shirts, are one of the most successful national teams from Asia. And fans will be looking forward to seeing such favourites as Yuji Nakazawa, Shunsuke Nakamura, Junichi Inamoto, Kengo Nakamura and Keji Tamada wearing the new Japan away shirt at the 2010 World Cup.

The new World Cup football shirt has a white base colour, with a red patch at the back of the white collar and another red patch just below the collar in the middle of the chest. The trademark stripes of adidas, the logo, player names and numbers are all in the traditional samurai blue colour. On the front of the shirt is the Japanese flag, with the crest of the Japanese football association and the text 'Japan' underneath. Accompanying the new Japan away football shirt are blue shorts and white socks.

As always, adidas have used the latest technology for the 2010 World Cup Japan away soccer shirts, which will be available in either a Formotion or Techfit shirt.
