South Africa Away 2010/12 adidas Football Shirt

World Cup hosts South Africa have unveiled their brand new adidas Away strip, which they will debut when they take on Namibia in an international friendly. The new South Africa away shirt incorporates the adidas design used for the World Cup, creating the outline of the national flag on the front of the football shirt.

The 2010 South Africa away shirt features a tribal pattern on the collar, as well as adidas' World Cup pattern which is featured on the Jabulani ball. The pattern represents the 11 players in the team, the 11 official languages of South Africa and the 11 South African tribes that make the country one of the most ethnologically diverse countries on the African continent.

The new South Africa football jersey incorporates a host of adidas performance technologies, which will help the players to perform in the varying weather conditions. The ClimaCool technology is an engineered mesh that allows heat and sweat to escape, while bringing cooling air into contact with the skin. And ForMotion technology allows complete freedom of movement, as radical cuts and 3D designs follow the shape of your body to increase comfort and improve performance.
