Liverpool Home Shirt 2010/12 - adidas Football Jersey

Liverpool and adidas have unveiled the brand new Liverpool 2010/12 Home Kit, to be worn by star players Steven Gerrard, Fernando Torres and Jamie Carragher as they look ahead to a revitalised 2010/11 Premier League season.

The new Liverpool Football Shirt 10/12 has been launched by adidas with the tag line: "We make the shirt. You make it Liverpool FC". An inspirational message for all Liverpool players and fans, to show their support for the club. Which is symbolised in adidas' promotional campaign, showing the new triangle pattern of Gerrard's shirt constructed with images of Liverpool fans.

The new adidas Liverpool Football Jersey 10/12 will be worn by the players for the next two seasons, and is available to pre-order now. The shirt maintains the world famous all-red colour, and features the club's new sponsor 'Standard Chartered'. In addition, adidas have introduced a stylish new round-neck collar and a unique (almost retro) triangular design adorning the shirt.

Accompanying the new Liverpool Home Kit is the 2010/12 Liverpool Goalkeepers Kit, an all-grey outfit shown below by Pepe Reina. And both of the new Liverpool adidas football shirts feature ClimaCool technology, an engineered mesh that allows heat and sweat to escape, while bringing cooling air into contact with the skin.

Players and fans of Liverpool will be hoping for a more successful season in 2010/11, and the new football shirt calls on all Liverpool fans to unite, show their support and rally around the team by wearing the new Liverpool Home Shirt for what is set to be a big season!

Of course, we wouldn't be doing our job properly if we didn't point out some interesting football boots observations from these PR shots from adidas. Gerrard and Carragher in Predator X football boots, with Gerrard wearing the forthcoming Champions White/Blue version (due out next season) and Carragher appears to have on the Predator X "Special" in black/blue/white.

Also, the eagle eyed boot spotters amongst you will have noticed Fernando Torres sporting a rather fetching pair of Nike Tiempo Legend III boots in White/Red - which we have to admit look absolutely stunning with the new kit. Could this be a change for Fernando.....?!
