Following on from the release of the new Nike Celtic home shirt, the club s Away Shirt for this season is an all green number, with black trim and unique detailing adorning the main body of the shirt.
What at first glance appears to be a tarten pattern, is actually the year of the club's formation '1888' reproduced to cover the entire main body of the shirt. And as a classy addition, Nike have also integrated Celtic's famous hoop design in the print.
Nike's accompaning imagery for the launch of the new 10/11 Celtic Away Football Shirt features some great player montages, including Nike endorsees Ki Sung-Yong, Marc Crosas, Glenn Loovens, and Shaun Maloney. The inspiration for these great montages is again to convey the passion, energy, drama and emotions endured by a Celtic player over 90 minutes.
To create the Celtic Away football jersey 10/11, Nike used cutting edge technology to engineer the shirt from recycled polyester, crafted from up to eight plastic water bottles! A part of Nike s Considered Design programme, which sees discarded plastic bottles diverted from landfills to be used in the manufacturing process.
The new Celtic Away football shirt 10/11, is crafted to cool the body 7% more than the previous incarnations. Engineered to be 13% percent lighter and able to stretch 10% more, the new Nike Celtic shirt is cut to fit better than ever before and utilise one of the most permeable DriFit fabrics.
The shirt is matched with black shorts featuring a green trim, and green socks co-ordinated with the shirt. The Celtic goalkeepers kit is the pretty much the same as across the Nike range for the 2010/11 season, with a jagged pattern adorning the sleeves of a plain grey jersey.
Available to pre-order now ahead of an early August release, the new 2010/11 Celtic away football shirt is expected to cost around £45 GBP / €55 EUROS / $75 USD. And we'd love to hear what people think of this new striking design?
