Umbro was a partner of The New York Cosmos during the 1970s when they were unquestionably the world's coolest club. Set to become a modern day classic and featuring the legendary New York Cosmos crest, with the unique green and yellow collar, this new home shirt is inspired by the one worn in 1977 by its star players like PelÉ.
The Cosmos were made famous in the 1970s as much for their star-studded fans off the pitch as the players on the pitch. The relaunch of the club aims to recreate the excitement around the original club where they regularly entertained A-List names in the crowd including movie stars, sports stars, pop stars, artists and politicians.
Featuring the attention to detail that comes from Umbro's tailored-by design and process, the updated Cosmos shirt oozes quality and could well be the coolest football shirt out there.
