In recent years, Madrid's success has become associated with high-profile glamor due to an array of star-studded Galacticos. The 2003-04 season was Real Madrid C.F.'s 73rd season in La Liga. It was a disappointing season for Madrid, who finished in fourth place, 7 points behind champions Valencia. It also marked David Beckhams first season for the Spanish giants after one of the highest profile transfers that saw Madrid exchange £25m for the Manchester United winger. 
The club has seen sweeping changes in its 107 year history but one thing that has remained constant throughout is the famous all white home shirt. Its simple white is an all time classic in sporting design and has lasted the test of time to remain one of the iconic football shirts. 
The famous white of Los Blancos has become an iconic part of the history of Real Madrid. The all white strip is one of the clubs biggest associations, and has been an constant presence in Madrid's rise to one of the worlds iconic football teams. 
Adidas have played a strong part in the history of Real Madrid's shirts. They designed the kit for the 1998/99 season, introducing yellow in '99 and grey in 2000 and '06. For the clubs centenary, adidas introduced a special spotless white in 2002.
