Werder Bremen Home Shirt 2011-2012 - Nike Football Shirt

Bundesliga club SV Werder Bremen have announced their new home kit for the 2011/12 season. Nike and Werder Bremen have hit the design studios to create a new-look that will take to the Weserstadion pitch when the new season kicks off!

Last seasons home kit  was met with a mixed response from The Green-Whites faithful. Werder Bremen will be hoping for an improved reaction to their latest Nike design. After last seasons spectacular fall from grace in the Bundesliga, Werder Bremen's new home kit design will hopefully signal a fresh start for the German side that finished in an uncharacteristic 13th place last season. The River Islanders have had some interesting kit designs over the years and their latest could soon become a fan favourite.

The new 11/12 Werder Bremen Home Shirt is now a single shade of Werder's traditional green, with small pinstripe lines descending in a chevron style down the front of the shirt. The controversial white zig-zag style band that previously ran across the front of 10/11 shirt has been removed to the relief of many Werder Bremen fans!

The Werder Bremen club badge remains stitched onto the shirt while the clubs sponsor remains the same. The jersey is also packed with Nike's performance enhancing technologies. Temperature regulation is helped by ventilation zones, consisting of hundreds of tiny laser cut holes from the under arms to the waistband, allowing air to circulate to keep players dry, cool and comfortable.

The lightweight fabric features Nike Dri-FIT technology and engineered ventilation systems to help keep players cool, coupled with ergonomic cut and soft cotton feel for player comfort.
