LA Galaxy Third Jersey - adidas Football Shirt
Building off the Galaxy s traditional white, navy and collegiate gold jersey, the club s third jersey, which was designed by adidas, highlights the fashion and style of the Southland with a very deep dark blue colour called Punjab and Light Old Gold. 
We looked at several options for our third jersey and in the end we all ended up agreeing on the same final design and colour scheme. We were especially proud to see the colour gold, which has been a constant throughout our club s history, is so prominent in this new jersey, Galaxy President Tom Payne said. To debut the new third jersey at our annual Fourth of July game will make an already special day even more memorable for our players as well as our fans. 
Since re-branding in 2007, all Galaxy jerseys have featured the LA Galaxy Quasar crest as a woven badge on the jersey with two embroidered stars representing their two MLS Cup championships, accompanied by the adidas three stripes down the sleeves. These basic design elements remain featured in the third jersey as well. 
To create the LA Galaxy s third kit, we embraced two of the most iconic elements of Los Angeles - L.A. fashion and Hollywood style, said Ernesto Bruce, MLS Category Manager for adidas. The sleek dark Punjab highlights Los Angeles style and fashion and the Light Old Gold gives the jersey a historic feel. The LA Galaxy s July 4 match versus the Sounders is the perfect time to debut this new kit. 
The Galaxy will debut their new uniforms tonight at The Home Depot Centre. Following the game, the club will host one of the largest fireworks shows in Southern California. At the game, the Galaxy Foundation will conduct a special Jersey-Off-the-Back auction, giving fans the opportunity to purchase the actual jersey worn on the field that night by their favourite Galaxy stars.
