The new 11/12 Real Madrid away shirt is a perfect fit alongside Los Blancos new home jersey. As adidas claim, 'gold fever' has returned - although we're sure the away trim looks more bronze! Either way, Ronaldo and co. will travel in style wearing an all black kit with 'gold' adidas detailing!
Now featuring a round-neck collar in place of the v-neck design of last season, the 11/12 Real Madrid away jersey offers a different look and feel to the new retro-style home shirt. Comparison's will no doubt be drawn to the new LA Galaxy adidas third shirt - a similar looking black gold design - and the fact that both Madrid Barca now have black away uniforms!
As we've come to expect with all of adidas' performance jersey's, the new 11/12 Real Madrid away shirt is made from lightweight ClimaCool Flow Mapping which uses mesh inlets, carefully positioned on the shirt to allow a small flow of air to enter and leave the shirt - keeping your body cool and dry.
Jose Mourinho's team are yet to wear the new 11/12 Real Madrid away shirt in competitive action. With just one pre-season game under their belt against LA Galaxy (a comfortable 4-1 win), they could be line to debut the shirt when they face Mexican side Club Deportivo Guadalajara on July 20.
