The undisputed focal point of the shirt is the gold star above the badge to represent their glorious World Cup success in South Africa. The striking feature on the new Spanish Euro 2012 shirt are two bold transparent lines that diagonally cross the centre of the jersey giving the kit a retro-styled feel to be worn with pride.



The new Spain shirt is a tribute from adidas to the Spanish Football Federation and its solid foundations, which led them to become European Champions in 1964 and again in 2008. Spain's hard work, humility and willingness to become champions again is echoed in the new campaign, where the message is simple - ''The past doesn't count. Everything is starting again''.

The sleek V-neck design includes a tribute inscription inside that reads "Campeones de Europa 1964 y 2008" (European Champions 1964 and 2008). The jersey features adidas' exclusive Climacool technology which ensures body temperature control and ventilation, with the use of technically advanced fabrics and visible mesh insets.
