The new Spain Away football kit 2012-13 has a totally new design. Using a combination of colours which has never been seen before, and is inspired by the away kit worn in the 1960's yet brought up to date in a much more striking tone. Of all the new football kits we have seen recently, this is probably the stand-out candidate for being the most radically designed.
The main element of the design is the band across the front, which adds dynamism while both framing and highlighting the shield. The collar is another of the key elements of the kit. Rounded, with a classical appearance, but with a two-piece construction which has never been used before.
Despite it's outlook on future successes, the new Spanish Away football jersey does pay homage to their previous glory in the European championships by including an inscription printed on the inside of the collar which reads: CAMPEONES DE EUROPA 1964 / 2008 .
Football shirts are no longer garments of clothing, but are themselves pieces of performance equipment and so the new Spain football shirt incorporates adidas Climacool technology. The jersey has been produced using Climacool technology, which helps players to regulate their body temperature and aids perspiration thanks to its use of technical fabrics and visible mesh inserts.
The 2012 Spain Away jersey also incorporates a new hologram which guarantees the authenticity of all the official clothing of the Spanish national team created by adidas. Available to order from major sporting retailers, the 2012 adidas Spain Away football shirt will be worn by the players as they face Venezuela on Feb 29.
