Gone is the green chest band. In its place, a full red body with a green crew neck. On the sleeves are green crosses formed from thin stripes, with the horizontal lines extending around the entire cuff. Inside the neck is an Armillary Spehere - a navigation instrument - in reference to Portugal's 500 year old national symbol.

Nike have taken a different approach with the shorts, changing the colour from white to red in a move that uniforms the kit far more effectively. The new home socks - now with improved cushioning for greater comfort - are also red with a thin green stripe at the top and a small green cross on the back of each calf.
