Nike & Juventus Reveal New 2013/14 Home Kit
Serie A Champions Juventus unveil their new Nike Home kit for the 2013/14 season. The sleek fitted jersey features the club's famous black and white stripes in a thinner style, reminiscent of the shirts Juventus wore during their domination of the 1980's.
Nike have stayed true to Juve's roots with a traditional design on the new shirt, which features a black stripe print on the cuffs and two side vents on the hem with a flash of black. The key style change from last season is the new 1980's influenced lowered V-neck collar.
The kit is made from recycled polyester in accord with Nike s commitment to produce athletic wear with a low environmental impact. The shirt and shorts are made from up to thirteen recycled plastic water bottles creating a kit that weighs just 150 grams, 23% lighter than previous Nike kits. 
The back of the shirt features a black block to give players greater visual acuity on the pitch and to hold the players names and numbers. The shirt may be lighter but after running away with the league title the weight of expectation will be as heavy as ever for the Italian giants.
