When a kit gets plaudits every year for its sheer beauty it would be wrong to change it up too much and that's the approach Nike have taken with the new Monaco 2015/16 home strip.
Same old or another solid design? Depends how you look at it, for us it represents the class and premium feel of the club. Monaco’s traditional red and white diagonal halves design has been subtly updated with gold details including a gold stripe running along each flank, a gold Nike Swoosh on the chest and a gold border around the club crest.
A two-tone aesthetic runs throughout the entire kit including the modern and lightweight v-neck collar with a red trim at the back of the neck. It's not far off from what everyone has grown to expect from a Monaco home shirt but if it ain't broke...
