Nike are marking the return of the Champions League Group Stage by launching the third kits for their top European clubs. Each club receives a 'Dazzling Camo' print with the Catalans coated in shades of maroon.

Maroon moves from head-to-toe submerge the third strip that Barcelona will wear on their travels in Europe this season, and sharp geometric patterns are scattered across the body of the shirt and the shorts for a graphic display that Nike are owning across all their third shirts this season. The bright orange stripe detail along the shoulder and the arm include a mosaic-like detail that celebrates the work of the city’s famous architecture. The player numbers appear in the same bright orange.

Individually it's a beautiful shirt with the much-needed introduction of busier graphics, but clubs of this magnitude will no doubt feel like they should be bespoke when it comes to design, rather than a flex of Nike's muscles by matching their clubs. Feels like the brand are creating 'Nike' kits rather than 'Barcelona' kits. Ya know? Nevertheless, it's smart as. Barcelona will wear their new Nike Third Shirt for the first time when they travel to Sporting Lisbon in the Champions League on September 27.
