Nike launch the 2018/19 PSG home shirt with Parisian patterns and vibes of volume. Dropping in a design inspired by the electric atmosphere of the Parc des Princes, Nike have turned up the treble in fitting style.
The PSG shirt has shot up the jersey sales table since the arrival of star players Neymar and Kylian Mbappe, so it's no surprise to see which two players front the release of the strip for the new campaign. This stunning little number will only see the PSG brand muscle further into the mix of Europe's elite.
Staying true to tradition, Paris Saint-Germain’s new 2018/19 home kit bristles with the historic red and blue. The club's Parc Des Princes home has been a cauldron of electricity in this treble winning season, and it's that atmosphere that provided the creative spark for designers to run PSG’s famed vertical red stripe through a speed filter and thus create a visual effect similar to a sound wave.
“The PSG fans are some of the noisiest in Europe and this powerful concept allowed us to do something new with the red stripe. It’s a really fresh and unique approach, but when you look at the kit you instantly recognize PSG,” says Pete Hoppins, Nike Football Apparel Senior Design Director.
The 2018/19 Paris Saint-Germain home shirt will be available from May 12.
