Umbro Launch Everton 18/19 Away Shirt

Everton and Umbro break new ground by becoming the first English club to launch a new kit fronted by their ladies team. The girls headline the 2018/19 away kit campaign for a shirt that packs a strong aesthetic.

Everton Ladies players Chloe Kelly, Megan Finnigan, Danielle Turner and Kirsty Levell feature in the video and imagery, debuting the kit that will also be worn by the men’s first team and U23’s sides throughout the 2018/19 season. Everton Ladies will be the first to wear the new kit in their pre-season friendly versus Liverpool on 22nd July, before the men’s team wear it for the first time later the same day in their game vs FC Porto.

The new 2018/19 away kit was created as part an extensive 15-month collaboration with Everton fans to understand their preferences on the colour and design of their team’s strips. Fans strongly supported a dark kit with flashes of colour for an away design, so the resulting Carbon-coloured shirt with Black sleeves and an eye-catching Pink Glo colour trim should go down pretty well with the blue half of the city.

The Pink Glo colour is used to highlight the diamond taping on the cuffs, the Club crest and sponsor logos, plus the graphic interpretation of the iconic St Rupert’s Tower on the nape of the neck. The kit is completed by black shorts and socks in the same Carbon colour with elements of Pink Glo on the Umbro logo. Can never go wrong with a black kit in our book. That classic Umbro taping always ticks a box too.
