Nike continue their cross-over trend by merging football into another American sports market. What we've got here are NFL styled jerseys for Premier League London duo Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur.

With the NFL grasping an ever growing stronger presence in the English capital, Nike have embraced the sport arriving on UK shores by whipping up two limited edition Gridiron designs for Spurs, who will eventually host NFL fixtures at their new stadium, and for Chelsea – Nike's other leading London club.

Both jerseys drop in simplistic white and blue bases with the number 10 plastered across the front back and shoulders along with the names of the club's respective players to wear that number – Chelsea's Eden Hazard and Tottenham's Harry Kane. The club crests and Nike Swoosh also appears on the sleeves to round off the design.

Why? Yeah alright, fair enough question. Well there is that link to the NFL's rising presence and popularity in London, but also... why not? Nike have linked the Jordan brand and PSG up for a stunning collaboration, and the results of disruptive collections like these are intriguing at the very least. Pushing soccer into an enormous American sports market while promoting American sports in Europe. It's a win-win for the Swoosh.
