Football Shirt Collective Present “The 84”

Dropping with a powerful message for what is a difficult time of year for many, “The 84” is a limited release football shirt produced in collaboration between Football Shirt Collective x Season Annual x Inaria, and it’s all raising money for CALM.

“The 84” relates to the shocking statistic that 84 men commit suicide each week in the UK, and this collaboration aims to raise the awareness of this problem. To represent these men, 84 rhombi/squares feature in the all-over sublimated design of the shirt, along with the number 84 on the back.

Only 40 shirts have been produced and released, with all the profits going to CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably). It can be a difficult time of the year for many people, a time when CALM feels more relevant than ever.

Male depression and suicide exists within football, with numerous current and ex-players coming forward to make their struggles public. But football is a wonderful thing that brings so many of us together, and we should always draw on our shared passion to find our sense of belonging, be that over the performances of our teams or the collective bonding over our favourite football shirts. “The 84” shirt was produced by Football Shirt Collective, designed by Season Annual and brought to life by kit manufacturers INARIA in a collaboration with real meaning.

“The 84” is available for pre-order here and will be ready to ship from 5 January.
