With 10 years fast approaching on the MLS clock, Seattle Sounders have launched their new jersey for the upcoming season, and it includes a massive sponsorship deal with Seattle-based online retailer Zulily.
Zulily is headquartered in Seattle, with corporate offices in Ohio as well as distribution centres in Nevada, Ohio, Pennsylvania and China. In addition to its new relationship with the Rave Green, Zulily is also partnering with National Women's Soccer League side Seattle Reign FC. Sounders fans will be pleased to see the smart logo in all white to ensure the clean aesthetics of the Xbox sponsor departure.
The partnership marks Sounders FC's first new kit sponsor since joining MLS in 2009, during which time they had been sponsored by Xbox. The move is big for Seattle as a whole, with both men's and women's professional teams uniting under one community-focused partner. As for the kit itself, it's a sumptuous little graphic print on the green that has become synonymous with the the club since their MLS debut in 2009.
