Where a lot of new kits have featured nods to the past recently, Bundesliga outfit Borussia Monchengladbach and PUMA have done away with retro to present a fresh new design on their 2019/20 home shirt.
Sticking with the traditional colours of the club but taking them in a whole new direction, the new Borussia Monchengladbach 2019/20 home shirt from PUMA features a striking sublimated design of billowing green and black smoke that rises from the bottom of the jersey. It’s refreshing to see such a unique design appearing, particularly after last season’s fairly uninspiring home kit.
The club nickname, ‘Die Fohlen’ (The Foals) is inscribed on the back of the neck to show the close relationship between the team and the fans. The kit is set to be debuted in the team’s final game of the season, which is against Borussia Dortmund this weekend.
