Nike Launch Spurs 2019/20 Home & Away Shirts

Tottenham Hotspur prepare for their first full season in their new stadium by unveiling their Nike 2019/20 home and away shirts for the upcoming campaign. Traditional with a tasteful twist is the theme for the jerseys as Nike serve up new designs for the 2019 Champions League finalists.

Fresh from their N17 homecoming and the opening of their stunning new stadium, Spurs are entering the new campaign full of optimism and ambition, they've even made a couple of signings to wear the new kits. The home kit looks predictable on first look with its pure white base, deep blue shorts and white socks, but on closer inspection there's some decent detailing that makes it bespoke.

The new home shirt is framed by a stylish blue V-neck collar and trim on the sleeves. Within the trim, the word ‘Spurs’ is subtly woven into the fabric. The blue shorts are finished with white detailing, while the white socks feature a blue hoop and the word ‘Spurs’ midway up the shin. Inside the shirt, an ‘inner pride’ feature celebrates the club motto: “To Dare Is To Do.”

“It’s a special time at the club right now,” said Tottenham and England striker Harry Kane. “The team has been making great progress, and with the move to the new stadium it feels like we have real momentum behind us. The kit looks great, it has a classic feel to it, it’s 100 per cent Spurs and I can’t wait to wear it.”

Meanwhile, the Tottenham's new away kit makes more of a statement through a vivid purple graphic on the front of the jersey. The kit, which is navy blue from head to toe, is lit up by this unique pattern which uses the word ‘SPURS’ multiple times to create a series of jagged lines across the chest. It's a colour scheme familiar to Spurs away and third jerseys, and it's completed by blue shorts and blue socks, which also feature a purple hoop. Inside the jersey the Club’s motto in Latin: “Audere Est Facere.”

Nike have also unveiled the first set of Spurs training and matchday-wear which includes white zipped jackets featuring a modified edition of the Air Max 'Tn' logo. The badge is edited to read 'Th', and you should be able to figure out what that stands for.
