The 2019/20 A-League season will mark a new era for Western Sydney Wanderers. The club, which have now revealed their new Nike home shirt, will move into their brand new 30,000 seater 'Bankwest Stadium' that is built to bring fans as close to the action as physically possible without picking up a pitch-encroachment banning order.

Western Sydney Wanderers FC are bringing their fans closer to the action in more ways than one as the club invited a number of their fans into the stunning new stadium to take part in the launch of the 2019/20 home kit. The horizontal stripes of red and black look typically strong as they host a rare central Nike Swoosh to allow for the league logo to sit on the right side of the chest.

A home shirt is more than just a uniform to pass the ball to. A home shirt is your identity and that can only come when you have a place to call home. WSW finally have that, and this is why the 2019/20 home shirt is the most significant in the club's history. It's a shirt with a meaning, a symbol that represents their land, and one that can travel with them on the road as a reminder of where they come from and who they are.

The club are currently gearing up for the 2019/20 Australian A-League season, which begins in October, and there's understandably a huge buzz around town as the club sit on the cusp of an exciting new chapter in their history. Fans will get a chance to enjoy the new stadium and to see the new home kit before that though, when WSW open their doors to host Championship side Leeds United on July 20, who are currently on their pre-season tour of Australia.

Western Sydney Wanderers forward, Mitchell Duke, who appeared in the short film said; "Being back home is a massive factor. I think over the last few seasons the club have had their struggles of never really having a home ground, so to be back home is massive for the fans and the club as a whole."
