New Balance Launch LFC 'Six Times' Black Collection

Celebrating the club’s illustrious European history, New Balance launch the LFC ‘Six Times’ Black Collection, which features a special edition 2018/19 Liverpool shirt alongside a range of other limited edition LFC items.

With the deal with Liverpool set to expire in the summer, New Balance go for one last hurrah, celebrating what is undoubtedly the highlight of their time with the Merseyside club: the sixth European title, won in Madrid earlier in 2019.

New Balance have provided Liverpool with some of their best selling kits of all time, and a regular feature each season has been special blacked-out versions of their shirts. They recently launched a special commemorative 'Six Times' shirt for the Reds, and as the partnership reaches its latter stages, the American brand have launched another black shirt, although this one comes complete with a golden flourish for a perfect sign off.

Based on the 2018/19 shirt, in which Liverpool won their sixth European title, triumphing over Tottenham in the final in Madrid, the shirt takes a large amount of inspiration from the somewhat unprecedented popularity of the 2019/20 goalkeeper’s shirt, replacing the red of the original with a black base and finishing it off with regal gold detailing in place of the white to pay homage to the club’s success.

Joining the shirt as one of the standout items in the collection is a 1500 trainer, again dressed out in the gold and black detailing, with six golden stars running down the side of the shoe and the LFC crest sitting proudly on the tongue. The rest of the collection is comprised of tees, jackets, backpacks, hats, and even a football.

Kenny McCallum, General Manager at New Balance Football, said: “With memories from Madrid still fresh in our minds, we are delighted to introduce the black Six Times Collection. We look forward to seeing Reds fans around the world in the new range.

The Liverpool 'Six Times' Black Shirt is available to pre-order now at prodirectsoccer.com, with the full collection set to be released on 4 December.
