Kappa continue to dish out the retro vibes for 2020 by delivering another beautifully curated collection for the Premier League's Aston Villa. Shapes of yesteryear are wrapped in that famous claret and blue combination for a slice of throwback football in the most nostalgic of dressings.

Kappa just get it, don't they? That sweet spot of mixing footballing heritage with terrace culture and nostalgic streetwear, they're bang on. They have been with the AS Monaco and Real Betis collections, and they're on it again here, swapping the seductive backdrop of the sparkling Mediterranean Sea for the grungier and rawer surroundings of Birmingham and the iconic Villa Park stadium.

Once again, the Italian brand will sort Villa out with a Kombat shirt as part of their "Kombat XX" collection, which celebrates 20 years since the debut of the original Kombat 2000 shirt released at the turn of the century, which featured a much tighter fit and a second-skin feel. While that performance element is quite rightly being celebrated, for us, it's all about those matchday tracksuits that are drenched in late 90s/early 00s vibes with oversized logos, looser fit and vibrant, shiny colours.
