With one eye on the start of a new season, Umbro launch the Bournemouth 20/21 home shirt, and it will also be worn for the remaining nine games of the 19/20 season. It features a striking gradient design that brings a modern twist to the classic red and black stripes of the club.
Sure the current season isn’t over yet, but everything’s out of whack, and when you’re sitting on something this pretty, you shouldn’t hide it. And so Umbro have revealed the Bournemouth 20/21 home shirt, and the club are going to be wearing it for the remains home fixtures of the 19/20 season. It's yet another belting design from the Double Diamond, continuing where the brand left off last season.
The kit’s design takes a distinctive new approach on the Cherries’ iconic red and black stripes, incorporating a bold gradient stripe jacquard on the front, back and cuff. It also brings back the blackout sleeves, V-neck collar and the AFCB sign off on the back of the neck. And you’re not going to have to wait long to see it, either. Bournemouth will be wearing it for the first time against Crystal Palace on Saturday 20 June – the first ever Premier League match to be broadcast on the BBC coincidently.
The club have also announced that Vitality will be their official shirt sponsor for the remainder of the 2019/20 season. Sadly that means that this beauty is not currently available to pre-order or purchase.
On-sale information for the new Bournemouth home kit will be provided ahead of the 2020/21 season.
