Leeds United Unveil Their 20/21 Home Shirt From adidas

It’s been a long time in coming, but Leeds United finally have a new kit that they’ll be wearing in the Premier League for the 20/21 season, and it comes courtesy of new kit supplier adidas, as the Three Stripes and the Yorkshire team get their partnership underway.

Leeds United make their long-awaited return to the Premier League after a 16 year leave of absence, and for the new era they also have a new kit manufacturer, as, for the first time in their 100-year history, they will be wearing Three Stripes. And the first product of this new partnership has officially been unveiled with the launch of the club’s new home shirt for the 20/21 season.

Leeds have been one of the most sought after clubs amongst brands and kit manufacturers in recent years, due mostly to the pulling power of the fans, with their shirt sales amongst the best in the country, and adidas will have been happy to not only have nailed down that contract, but to have also seen the team make the return to the top-tier of English football shortly thereafter.

The design of this first home shirt from adidas is pretty much what you’d expect in that it’s a crisp white look, with nothing too adventurous; whilst not overly exciting, it’s sure to keep the majority of fans happy. The core white of the shirt is joined by blue hits through the Three Stripes branding on the shoulders, the sponsor and some delicate piping on the sleeve cuffs. But the most important detail for all Leeds fans does not even come courtesy of adidas, with that all-important Premier League patch taking pride of place on the shirt sleeves. Both the club and brand will be hoping that that’s a permanent fixture on their shirts going forward.

The Leeds United 20/21 home shirt is available tomorrow, 20 August from 8am at shop.leedsunited.com
