New Balance Launch Lille 20/21 Away Shirt

Releasing as part of New Balance’s ‘We are the new blood’ 20/21 campaign for LOSC Lille, which celebrates the next generation of Club and fan, the brand unveil the club’s new away shirt.

Following up the release of the Lille 20/21 home shirt, New Balance reveal the new away shirt, with a design that’s reminiscent of the city’s thriving nightlife and culture of self-expression. The shirt adopts a Black shade, whilst a dramatic flashing light print in the Club’s signature High Risk Red and White and is added to the front of the jersey.

General Manager of New Balance Football, Kenny McCallum said: “Music and nightlife are synonymous with Lille and a great source of inspiration for the kit. We set out to create a jersey that’s perfect for an on-pitch moment both in terms of performance and visual identity, but equally would look great worn in a venue”.

We recently spoke with New Balance Apparel Designer Joe Gillibrand to take a deeper dive into the design and inspiration behind the home shirt as part of our ‘Dropology’ series, and it gives an insight into the process. This is another shirt that continues the reworking of the club’s brand image, elevating their reputation and playing status while they're at it.

The Lille 20/21 away shirt will be available from 6 August on newbalance.co.uk/football
