The shirts are designed with a Toile de Jouy print – the famous French fabric pattern style – and feature legendary players and supporters from the club’s history.
Always ones to grab attention for their standout styles, Red Star FC fail to disappoint once more with the reveal of their home and away shirts for the 20/21 season. Once again playing free of the confines of tradition, the rebellious and creative culture of Red Star FC takes utilise the legendary Toile de Jouy, a type of print that is characterised by complex vignettes scattered over the surface of the cloth. Originally, they were scenes carved on woodblocks or engraved on copper, printed in only one colour (often red, black, or blue) onto a white or cream background.
For both the home and away shirts, Red Star FC revisit the legendary toile de jouy to retrace the club's history, with ten sketches made up of famous players, supporters, Bauer, the Olympic, and future generations. The Red Star of yesterday, today and tomorrow, captured in the two distinctive presentations.
