adidas Drop Arsenal 20/21 Third Shirt

Completing the set for the coming campaign, adidas drop the Arsenal 20/21 third shirt, with a expressive graphics that take influence from London culture, while the all over design is inspired by matches at the Emirates Stadium at night.

Arsenal have once again been graced with two of the best looking kits of the season so far, and now the home and away shirts are joined by the new third shirt, as Adidas round out the collection ahead of the start of the 20/21 season this weekend. The new design was created from a custom set of tie dye prints which infuse together to produce a subtle all-over design, complemented with bright trims. The colours represent the lights and atmosphere that illuminate Emirates Stadium during a night match, with the blue and navy elements referencing the night sky, and the vibrant lights of the stadium brought to life in the lighter flash orange details.

Arsenal’s Kieran Tierney said of the new third shirt; “I’m a big fan of the third kit this year from adidas and Arsenal. It completes a strong set of strips for the season. We have won two trophies in two of our new kits since they launched, and we’ll be working hard to continue our form once the season kicks off.

The launch of the shirt has been supported by a short film that you can check out below. It sees Arsenal Head Coach Mikel Arteta deliver a heartfelt speech to the whole Arsenal community, as he explains the importance of being part of the Arsenal family, and what it means to him to be part of the club. The film features Head Coach Mikel Arteta, women’s footballer of the year Vivianne Miedema and breakthrough talent Bukayo Saka. Club legends Kanu and Dennis Bergkamp also feature as well as fans from all walks of life and all parts of the Arsenal community. The third jersey was inspired by the club’s home city, and the film shows the breadth of the Arsenal fans who live there, and beyond.
