PSG Debut Full 20/21 Jordan Collection

As has become something of a tradition now, PSG launched their Jordan branded kit for the 20/21 season recently, switching the Swoosh for the Jumpman for a majestic third kit and corresponding collection, and what better place to debut it than in the Champions League, as the greatest club competition got back underway.

Last season’s beaten finalists will undoubtedly be looking to go one step further this season, and they’ll once again be doing it in the unrivalled drip of their latest Jordan collab, which this season sees a new design for the kit and collection that refers to the colour of the Air Jordan VII, debuted by Michael Jordan on the floors of the 1992 NBA All-Star Game. The VII was the brand’s first pair to feature the bordeaux colour that is represented in such luxurious fashion here.

PSG chose their return to Champions League action to debut the collection and kit, as they strolled to 2-0 win over İstanbul Başakşehir, with new boy Moise Kean bagging a brace to mark his first goals in the competition. And the kit just looked the part, with the Bordeaux joined by the white and black accents on the shoulders and sleeves, with touches of gold on the logo, in reference to the club's 50th anniversary.

But the sauce started way before kick off, with the Ligue 1 champions showing off the wider collection, first in training ahead of the game, with the white Vaporknit Strike Drill Tops with the Bordeaux colouring in supporting role catching the eye. That was then followed up by the luxurious prematch top, which sees the sublimated “Paris” graphic running through the black base, complemented by the golden accents that pop through the sponsor, club crest and branding.

And then it was all topped off – quite literally, in fact – by that Jordan x PSG anthem jacket. That oversized, retro-infused throwback design has already caught our eye, but it looked as good as you imagined it would on the players as they lined up ahead of kick off.

Is this the best Jordan x PSG collection yet? While we wouldn’t commit to that, it’s certainly comfortable in the company of what has come before, lending yet another level to the kings of style as they look to clinch the Champions League. Got off to a good start...
