Parisian based Ligue 2 club Red Star FC release their 2020/21 winter collection with adidas, with the capsule featuring a parka, a poncho and the club's new "Solar" coloured training jersey.
In an understated style that’s not common of the club’s usual approach, Red Star Paris have launched a new adidas winter collection for the 20/21 season. The club launched their exuberantly luxurious home and away shirts back in August, and by contrast this capsule seems rather reserved, though that’s no bad thing, balancing out the vibrancy of their on-pitch attire with something far more subdued for anytime off it. Subdued, that is, until you get to the new “Solar” training top, which is far more in line with what we’d expect from the club.
The collection was heralded by a lookbook that places full focus on the new training sweater, which comes with handy integrated neck warmer/mask – perfect for the weird new normal that we find ourselves in. Or if you’re just a bit chilly. Or if you see your ex on the other side of the street and you really don’t want them to notice you because the break up was messy and you wonder if they remember – or even know for that matter – what you did with their toothbrush...
The rest of the capsule is rounded out by the aforementioned training top, which sees a vibrant orange body combined with black sleeves, and a parker and poncho, the latter of which boasts the classic black core with white Three Stripes travelling down the forearms, similar to the training sweater, although there they stretch the full length of the shoulders and arm. That monochrome look leaves focus on the only other flash of colour emanating from the clothing: the Red Star.
