Inspired by the sunset and spirit of the Guerrero Aguila – the Eagle Warriors of the Aztec army – Nike unveil the Club América away shirt for the 21/22 season.
Continuing their quest to be the best looking club in the world thanks to their consistently unique kit designs, Club América and Nike have unveiled the club’s new away shirt for the 21/22 season. Set to be worn in next season's Liga MX campaign, the new away shirt features a navy base with a sublimated graphic that fades as it travels from the bottom up.
Club América boasted one of the best shirt designs of the year back in January with the drop of their outstanding third shirt, and they now follow that up with their new away shirt. Never afraid to lean on the Aztec heritage, this design once again sees a graphic inspired by the ancient empire. This time, the graphic print pays homage to the Guerrero Aguila, who were a special class of infantry soldier in the Aztec army, one of the two leading military special forces orders in Aztec society. The graphic dominates the lower quadrant of the shirt, while the club crest, side stripes, sponsors and branding all pop in yellow.
The Club América 21/22 away shirt will be available from prodirectsoccer.com from next week.
