Prepped for another push at the Bundesliga and beyond, Borussia Dortmund and PUMA have unveiled the club's new ‘steel grey’ 2021/22 away jersey. The design sees continuous lateral chevron graphics cover the jersey which is complimented by black shorts and socks.
Following up the drop of the club’s new home shirt back in May, PUMA have launched the new Borussia Dortmund 21/22 away shirt. Despite the club’s nickname, the only yellow on the shirt flashes through the club crest and the PUMA branding, leaving the rest of the design in shades of black and grey. The sponsor feels jarring once more, making no effort to fit in with the otherwise stylish aesthetics of the overall design. Shame.
Along with the disjointed chevron pattern, two black panels appear on the shoulders. The shirt combines 100 percent recycled polyester with advanced PUMA dryCELL thermoregulation technology to ensure uncompromising fit and mobility, keeping the athletes dry and comfortable. The jersey integrates an ultra-light jacquard structure into the back of the jersey to enhance breathability during intense performance. The kit is finished with black shorts and socks
