Arriving as just the third primary shirt in the club’s short yet storied history, adidas provide LAFC with a new offering for the 2022 season, and it’s hands down the best the club have had yet. It obviously has the instant advantage of being one of the best kit colour combos in the game, but where the club’s first primary jersey may have played things slightly safe and the second followed the template design that was used in the 2020 season, this one really ploughs down the bespoke route, and is just too good for it.
So we’ve already established the fact that it comes in a cracking colour combination, but the shirt design is given an added edge thanks to an all-over sublimated geometric pattern that blends grey with the black for an added level of definition. The gold then accents the jersey, appearing on the branding, sponsor and club crest, the latter two of which take up and always pleasing central position. Did we say that we like this design? Yeah, you can just take our money with this. Adidas absolutely ramping things up to another level with their designs this year.
