Drawing inspiration from the title winning 2011/12 campaign, New Balance has revealed the LOSC Lille 22/23 home shirt.
Probably safe to say that Lille’s Ligue 1 title defence didn’t quite go according to plan last season. But with that put to bed, attention turns to the coming season, and the side have an optimistic outlook, encapsulated in the design of their new home shirt from New Balance. The shirt design draws inspiration from 2011/12, when the newly crowned champions sparked a new generation of young football fans.
The bespoke design showcases a bold line print in navy and white set against the clubs traditional signature red base, together offering up a fresh take from last season's home shirt. A panelled and tipped neck collar and cuff sleeves are also added, whilst knitted shorts and socks compliment the look.
General Manager of New Balance Football, Kenny McCallum, added: “There’s a real energy on the streets of Lille and a great sense of possibility surrounding the club. New Balance wanted the home kit to feel part of that movement. The design is reflective of a young team in a vibrant city, that plays the game its own way and unlike any LOSC side before it.”
