VfL Wolfsburg gave their new home shirt a winning debut in preseason this week, whilst also unveiling their new away shirt for the 22/23 campaign.
How this one flew under the radar is anyones guess, what with the eye catching design, but Wolfsburg have unveiled and then debuted their new home shirt from Nike. The men’s side were given the honour of debuting the kit in their preseason friendly against Veltins-Auswahl – a match they won 9-1, with the radical new look starring on centre stage. The design sees a vibrant green colour with a triangular sublimated graphic playing out across its entirety.
The dark blue accents on the neck and sleeves round off the Wolves’ home kit, offering a nice contrast along with the branding and VW sponsor logo. The green wolf's head can be found inside the dark blue neck area.
Along with the home shirt, the club also unveiled their new away shirt for the 22/23 season, and it arrives in a stylish dark grey-green design. In stark contrast to the home shirt it boasts a clean look, with the light green embroidered Nike logo on the right side of the chest and the green-and-white VfL Wolfsburg logo on the left adding colourful accents to the canvas. The sleeve cuffs and collar are also in green as a highlight of the jersey, with both complemented by a dark blue stripe at the end. The green wolf's head is visible inside the dark grey area.
