Kappa Rerelease Monaco 1999-00 Home Shirt

As voted for by fans, Kappa have remade and rereleased the AS Monaco home shirt from the title winning 1999/00 season, originally worn by players such as Marcelo Gallardo, Sabri Lamouchi, David Trezeguet, Marco Simone and Ludovic Giuly.

Since they have resumed their partnership, Kappa and Monaco have moved from strength to strength, with the collection with French streetwear brand Drôle de Monsieur last October marking the strength of the direction the two are heading in together. Now, Kappa delve back into the archive to pull out an absolute gem from the past, rereleasing the 99/00 home shirt, as voted for by fans.

The rerelease is an identical recreation of the jersey worn during the 1999-2000 season, one of the most iconic in French football history. It was a memorable season for the Ligue 1 side, which, on 15 April, 2000, saw AS Monaco officially crowned champions of France for the seventh time in their history.

The shirt comes with all the details of the original, down to the sponsor from that season, FEDCOM. The look sees the classic Kappa Banda running down both shoulders, as well as the subtle use of black trim in the hem, cuffs and collar, together adding definition to the classic red and white. An absolute classic.
