The NWSL continues to be a place of great interest when it comes to kit designs, and the latest to catch our attention comes from Chicago Red Stars, who have just unveiled their 2023 home shirt from Nike, known as “The Foundation Kit”.
Dressed to impress and ready for the coming season, Chicago Red Stars have unveiled their new home kit from Nike, with a design that places emphasis squarely on their monicker, with four red stars emblazoned across the centre of the shirt. The stars represent the bedrock of the foundational framework being laid as the club prepare to enter a new chapter. That aside, it’s just another beautiful kit from the National Women’s Soccer League, and we doff our respective caps to the designers at Nike.
Dubbed “The Foundation Kit”, the jersey sees the elegance and style of Chicago, combined with the grit and tenacity of the Red Stars. It’s achieved through a predominantly black base, with those previously mentioned four Red Stars standing out as the focal point. But there’s more to be admired, with a faint inter-connected star graphic playing out across the entire shirt. The CIBC sponsor rides under the red stars in white, with the branding and crest also appearing in the same contrasting colour to the rest of the shirt.
