Napoli and EA7 Release 'Face Game' Kits

Following their Scudetto success, Napoli have revealed a new kit from EA7, and it’s one that features a montage of each player – a total of 25 designs. Though Serie A regulations won’t allow them to wear the new ‘Face Game’ kits, the Italian champions did wear them for their celebrations after the Fiorentina game recently.

EA7 have not shied away from producing the odd extra kit or 10 for Napoli over the last two seasons, taking pretty much any special occasion as an excuse to roll out another special edition. And what more special occasion is there than your team winning the Scudetto for the first time in 33 years? With that in mind, the offshoot brand of Giorgio Armani has gone all in, producing not one, but 25 new shirt designs – one for every player in the squad.

Dubbed ‘Face Game’, the new shirts feature a montage of every player, acknowledging the fact that together, they have “faced up” to the challenges of the season, and ultimately triumphed. However, unlike the majority of other kits that Napoli have had this season and last, they will not be able to wear the new ‘Face Game’ shirts in a match, as the individual designs breach Serie A rules and regulations. Instead, the club debuted the kits during their Scudetto celebrations, following their 1-0 win over Fiorentina – their first victory as champions and their first back at their home ground.

If you also count the European shirts, goalkeeper versions, and the ‘Face Game’ jerseys individually, Napoli are selling 36 different kits this season. Tough one if you're a diehard Napoli kit collector...
