Bayern Munich Reveal New 23/24 adidas Away Shirt

Celebrating its fans around the world, Bayern Munich have unveiled their new away kit for 23/24 from Adidas. The shirt features a world map-inspired graphic with pink and green diamonds representing the German record champions’ fan clubs around the globe.

Joining the already released home shirt for the 23/24 season, perennial Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich have revealed their new away shirt, which will be worn by the men’s professional team for the first time on the pitch for the match against Kawasaki Frontale on 29 July in Tokyo. It’s a unique look for Bayern, with a black base covered in a green and pink diamond graphic that combines to create the world map, drawing inspiration from the "Mia San Mia" motto and how it unites the club’s global fans.

The striking colours of the jersey reflect the skylines of fan metropolises such as New York, Shanghai and Bangkok, as well as the cityscapes of Tokyo and Singapore at night - both places FC Bayern are visiting on this year's Audi Summer Tour. The "Mia San Mia" lettering can be found on the back of the neck, while the colours are also picked up once again in the new back printing.

Andreas Jung, FC Bayern board member said: "With this jersey, we together with our partner adidas want to express that the 'Mia San Mia' of our club has spread from Munich and Bayern to fans around the globe. FC Bayern brings together people who are passionate about this club, its football and its values – no matter where they live.

Lisa Datz, senior product manager at adidas Football added: "With this bold new kit, we want to reflect the meaning of 'Mia san Mia' – a global mindset that transcends borders and football. It brings together FC Bayern fans around the world and features a fresh design in an eye-catching colour palette that fans have never seen before. We can't wait to see it on the pitch and on fans cheering for the team around the world."
