Celebrating the club’s 120th anniversary, Benfica have released their 23/24 away shirt from adidas, with a design that pays tribute to the millions of club fans across the world.
Five continents, five colours, five front stripes. The new Benfica 23/24 away shirt from adidas is a tribute to fans on a global scale. The black base ensures all focus is on the vertical striped graphic on the front, which is a tribute to the millions of Benfica supporters all over the world. On a global scale and preserving Europe as its starting point, SL Benfica stands out in the remaining four continents through a worldwide representation, a fact based on the 69 different countries where it has played, on the players from 55 different countries that have passed through its squad, and even on the official representation it has in 12 countries, through the Casas do Benfica.
The design is framed by white accents on the collar and side stripes, with the branding, on shoulder and chest, also appearing in white.
In addition to the design, the jersey's produced using adidas Primegreen, meaning that it’s been produced with a number of high-performance recycled materials that represent a commitment to phase out all virgin polyester by 2024, as well as plastic waste.
