Venezia get their 23/24 wardrobe underway with their new prematch shirt from Kappa, which is once again designed by Bureau Borsche and pays tribute to the soul of the city inspired by its people.
Everyone’s favourite alternate team, thanks to a uniquely carved out identity over the last few seasons, Venezia get their 23/24 offerings up and running with their new prematch shirt, which this year underlines the team's bond with the city of Venice and celebrates the relationship between the orange fans and Venezia FC. The pre-match shirt is the first of the four releases that make up the 23/24 collection, a unique style that combines fashion and Italian quality.
The campaign, shot by English photographer Sam Gregg, sees the people of Venice as the focus: islanders and mainlanders who make up the social fabric of the lagoon, from the fishermen of the Giudecca to the artisans, from the kids who play football in the streets to the shipwrights of the squeri; all fans alike, and this is a tribute to them.
Kicking off the third season of Venezia FC's partnership with Kappa, the prematch shirt comes as the latest product from the collaboration with the design studio Bureau Borsche, who were responsible for the rebranding of the club in the summer of 2022. It consists of vertical lines in the club colours of orange, black and green, on which stands the club logo in contrasting white.
"The launch of the 23/24 collection is truly a symbolic moment, as it represents our city, our players and above all our fans all over the world,” explained Duncan Niederauer, President of Venezia FC. “We have a very clear identity, and the new collection wants to underline our commitment and our mission, with particular attention to sporting excellence, Venetian culture and social responsibility.
